This is the first true entry of Gran’s Wisdom, although she has already had a mentioned in The Car Obsession!
Gran was of the generation pre “The Pill”, which resulted in many families being particularly large and extended. It may also have been down to the lack of TV. I can’t recall the exact relation’s name who had one of the largest selection of sprogs, but Gran has the following Wisdom in relation to how the little darlings happened:
“She only had to shake her man’s trousers to fall pregnant!”
