Employer’s View on Breaking Things
Saw this interesting little ditty as part of someone’s signature on a forum posting:
Quote from previous employer: “With enough force you can snap your finger off in your ar$ehole”. The comments made after breaking a fibre module.
It reminds me of the flip side of this… an engineer I worked with didn’t want to get promoted so his outlook was:
One good fuck-up a year keeps me where I’m at!
