Scotland was complete crap and Georgia was pretty strong. Enough said!
Now all we’ve got to do is beat the World Champions next month… yeah right. At least we’re not looking for results to help us out elsewhere, like we’ve had in so many past campaigns. It is of little consolation that one of the other home nation teams finds themselves in that exact position following results elsewhere in the former Soviet Union! Our destiny is still in our own hands.
p.s. Get those fuckin’ maroon shirts burnt. Why weren’t we playing in our usual “Braveheart” strip?
