Thanks for visiting!

There is absolutely no foundation to the rumour that all the neighbours are selling up due to the sight of the jungle at No15. Well it is only two homes out of eight - okay its out of seven as I really can’t count my own. Hopefully the SOLD signs are just about visible on both sides of the photo.
It probably has more to do with them knocking out sprogs and not having enough room to accomodate the little darlings. Personally, I’d let the little darlings have their own annex homes, some may describe this as a “garden-shed”. I have my own “kiddie home” in the back garden!
It could also be attributable to the more than 400% profit they are making on the deal.

Beautiful weather has been present with us for the last few days in Fife, Scotland, but that all changed overnight!

Unfortunately it poured down with rain, which kind of scuppered my well intended plan to cut the grass and make a start on tidying the garden. Well I guess it will just have to wait until tomorrow or as the Spanish would say “mañana,mañana!”
I need some advice, is that a weed or some kind of shrub growing away on the driveway (2nd photo)? Don’t want to poison or destroy one of God’s flowers.
Perhaps I’ll publish the “Anti-Gardener’s Excuse Book” very soon.
The cloudy sky also means it is unlikely that I’ll be able to see the Moon Eclipse this evening.

I just popped over to a friend’s place at East Wemyss. Whilst making my way over the back roads of Fife I happened across this car. It seemed to be parked a little strange or maybe they hadn’t paid their road tax and were attempting to keep off the Queen’s Highway.

Thanks goodness the police are aware!
First real photos I’ve snapped with my Nokia camera phone. Shame it was dusk as it spoilt the lighting conditions. Never mind I think people can get a feel for the scene.
Seriously, I do hope no one was serious injured in this accident incident!

Hello Everyone
I’ve been feeling a bit left behind recently with everyone I know seeming to have their own personal blog. Not to be left behind this is my first attempt at something.
What About the Name?
After some contemplation I came up with this name for two reasons:
1.Since my late teens I’ve been suffering the effects of Crohn’s Disease, an inflammatory disease of the digestive track that can affect everything from the mouth through to the anus. Narrowing of my bowel has resulted in a gurgling / grumbling noise eminating usually at the most inopportune moment.
2.Grumbling also suggests some form of disagreement and everyone’s tummy requires food.
Now if we take this in the context of a weblog: grumbling could signify complaining, dissent and general “bumping of the gums” and the weblog’s food has to be content and information, so the weblog requires grumbling content. Well that’s the best intellectual link up I could come up with
Thanks go to Craig Murphy for suggesting WordPress as the blogging software system.
